The Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government Area, Hon Emmanuel Olarenwaju Bamigboye has promised to give free medical surgery and improve better healthcare services for all residents in Mushin.
Mushin Mayor who was ably represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Olatunosun Aruwe Haruna stated this during A Day Orientation and sensitization forum with Traditional Rulers, Community leaders, Corporate bodies, Market leaders, CDAs/CDC, Agencies, Stakeholders, Trade and Artisans, held on 22nd November, 2023 at Mushin LG Secretariat.
He welcomed the Permanent Secretary of Health District VI, Dr. Abimbola Mabogunje to Mushin LGA and appreciated all Invited Guests, while emphasizing on numerous achievements through delivery of dividends of democracy to the Constituents and had promised to intensity greater efforts in providing best educational system for students, empowerment programmes for women and youths, sustaining conducive environment, model markets, infrastructural/developmental projects, roads Constructions and healthcare service with well-equipped medical facilities in all Primary Health Centres, as "Health is Wealth" and promised to touch nooks and crannies of Mushin LGA.
The Permanent Secretary of Health District VI, Dr Abimbola Mabogunje urged all residents to immunize their female children against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and Polio immunization, supports government initiatives on provision of Healthcare and advised people on maintaining healthy living.
Speaking at the occasion, the Leader of legislative chamber, Hon.Olamide Williams, thanked the Permanent Secretary of Health District VI, all Guests and Stakeholders for gracing the occasion, while urging everyone to passed the information across and enlighten others.
The programme was wrapped up with awards presentation to the best on Field teams who were extraordinary during the vaccination of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and token cash gifts were taken home by the winners, courtesy of the Executive Chairman of Mushin LGA.
